The Council Tower
The council tower is one of the most famous monuments of Sibiu and today is the result of several constructions of the initial construction preserving the kernel up to the first two floors. This tower served as a fortification tower of defense.
The C.A. Evangelic Church
Evangelic Church of Augustan Confession was built in 14th century on the location of an old church dating from the 12th century. The tower has 73.34 m height representing this building as the highest building in Sibiu. In this tower you can reach by climbing 192 footsteps which stop at the 4 towers from which it is providea a general overview of the city.
The Bridge of Lies
The Bridge of Lies is the first cast iron bridge in Romania, which was originally built of wood (1771) but the Friedrich Hütte Company rebuild it in 1859.
The Bridge of Lies has as foundation several legends and the most popular is that according to which if someone tells a lie while he or she is on the bridge, the bridge will collapse.
